Bells with a View, a gorgeous wedding venue in Sevierville, Tennessee, hosted an Intimate Reception styled shoot in partnership with Flowerlet, All Occasions Party Rentals and Mamibel’s Cakes. It. Was. Stunning. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
But, I have to share some of the behind the scenes. When I arrived, we set up the champagne tower. While I have photographed many, I have not actually been a part of the set up before, and I hadn’t ever considered how much planning goes into the set up. In an effort to make sure we didn’t spill or break anything, we coined the term, “Walk with a whisper,” which may have come about because we were actually whispering for a moment, which made us all laugh. And, I love to laugh.
This was my first time meeting Jessica and Ryan, the husband and wife team who own Flowerlet. I loved Jessica’s attention to detail and her smile. She felt like an instant friend. My favorite thing about Ryan was that he is clearly Jessica’s biggest fan and hype person. He is also very passionate about cooking, and his gazpacho was delicious.
The cake was so beautiful, and when I later found out it was tres leches, I was sad I didn’t get to stay long enough to try it. Needless to say, I will be coming up with an excuse to get a cake from Mamibel’s.
Finally, I can’t wait to shoot at Bells with a View again. The venue is gorgeous with so many stunning photo opportunities, especially the reception space with its textured walls and ceiling. Also Patrician, who owns and runs the Sevierville wedding venue, lights up a room. I have to say, if I were going to put together a great vendor team, Bells with a View and Flowerlet would absolutely be included for charm, beauty and attention to detail.
