After shooting weddings for 10 years, I was so excited for Mellissa and Ross’s destination beach wedding in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, for several reasons. This was my first destination wedding, my first sunrise wedding, and my first beach wedding!

Also, I first met Mellissa and Ross in 2019 soon after they started dating, so it’s an honor to capture such special memories for dear friends.

Their wedding was perfect. If it weren’t for the fun of being at a wedding getaway where I knew all of the guests, I’d have to say that the catered brunch was my favorite part. But mostly, I loved the beautiful soft sun and the salty air.
