I met Michelle through my reiki energy healing practice Holistic Wellbeing with Kandi. She loves art, poetry, and all things Disney. Michelle is extremely talented at discovering hidden gems like restaurants, funky shops, and second-hand dresses. Over the past year, Michelle has been rediscovering parts of herself that she had disconnected from, especially her love of writing poetry. Even during the Chattanooga branding photo session, Michelle remembered an aspect of herself that makes her feel alive and inspired. I love that she embraced the simplicity of black and white dresses for the Chattanooga photography session, allowing her colorful aura to shine through. Shooting photos in a park along the river bank near Hixson was absolutely perfect for connecting to nature and letting her witchy side express itself more and more. And of course, as a photographer, I love that she didn’t even hesitate to go into the water. In fact, soon after the shoot, she found a poem she had written that described dancing in the water and feeling more whole. What a beautiful manifestation!
