Brandon wanted to surprise Jamie with a proposal with beautiful mountain backdrops. I got to help him plan dinner at Seasons 101 in Sevierville (which is one of my faves!) followed by a drive in the mountains on Foothills Parkway. It’s kind of a funny story. Brandon asked me to have my camera hidden. He planned to ask me for a photo with his phone and then I switch over to my camera at the last second. Well, apparently I did a good job of hiding my camera. He got nervous and didn’t propose in the planned spot. I try not to text when a guy is about to propose because sometimes messages pop up on car screens. But, I had bit the bullet and text him. He told me he wanted to go to a different spot and confirmed I had cameras with me. He wanted to make sure I wasn’t just going to use his cell phone. Hehe, hiring a photographer when you live in another state does come with an element of trust. I’m grateful to have such amazing clients who get to have such fun, memorable experiences. We laughed and laughed after he dropped to his knee and got the yes he’s dreamed of.
